Elf on the Shelf season is in full swing, and ours is having a lot of fun in our kitchen lately!
Elf on the Shelf Kitchen Ideas
The boys have been asking for Oreo milkshakes every night, so it’s nice that Louie stepped in and said no more… by hiding in the blender! HI see that he is sneaking a few Oreo’s, though…
Elves have a sweet tooth, and Louie is no different! We found him hanging out next to our stove last week eating powdered sugar donuts–he was a mess!
I truly thought Louie was neutral in the ASU vs. UofA house debate, but last week he showed us that he was on Jack and Steve’s side. Boo. He decided to show us in the kitchen using can and bottle coozies :)
Grandma came to visit us and she made cookies the other night! Louie decided to close himself inside a container with one of the cookies. I’m amazed at the amount of sugar this little guy takes in every day!
A few of my wonderful friends and I have decided that we want to see your elf ideas! We will be hosting a weekly linkup from now until Christmas week so you can share all of your elf ideas! We are sharing our ideas on our blogs: Amy from OC Mentor, myself, Emily from Our Knight Life, and Sara from Mom Endeavors are your hosts for this fun and creative linkup!
The idea is simple–every week we’ll be here with a new linkup for you to add your Elf on the Shelf ideas. Add your link (to your Elf on the Shelf post, not your homepage) below and visit some of the other participants to see what their elves are up to. If you can’t visit all of the participants, it’s best to look at your linkup number and only visit posts with the same last number. For example, if you’re #17 to linkup, you’ll visit #7, #27, and so on.
My favorite post from last week was this Karen’s Elf on the Shelf goes to Disneyland! She has the cutest ideas for her Elf, who rides on the different rides at Disneyland… in Karen’s house!
