What is Elf on the Shelf? 

The Elf is a fun friend who comes directly from the North Pole to keep an eye on behavior every holiday season–it’s a big Christmas tradition in our house. The elves report directly to Santa, so it’s important that everyone behaves when they’re around!

The elves report back on whether your kids are naughty or nice, and can be calm and quiet or cause a bit of a stir in your house.

Elf for Non Believers | Once your kids outgrow the idea that a stuffed elf can report back to Santa, you might be tempted to give up the tradition. We didn’t give up on our Elf even though our kids outgrew the believing part. It’s still a fun tradition.
