Disposable Toothbrushes

Wisp disposable toothbrushes are a fantastic gift for someone starting Invisalign. They have a flossing tip on one end and the cleaning end on the other.

Brushing your teeth on the go is important when you are wearing Invisalign. Disposable toothbrushes are easy to throw in a bag or backpack so you can use them on the go, then throw them away. The best part is they have toothpaste right in them, so no need to bring a tube! We have found these especially helpful with Jack because of his age. No teenager wants to be seen bringing a toothbrush and toothpaste into the bathroom after lunch!

Dental Wax

Dental wax is a must for anyone going through orthodontic treatment. Even with Invisalign clear aligners, there can be some sore spots and rubbing. Dental wax is a quick an easy way to avoid unnecessary pain or sore spots.

There are a few things that can cause pain during treatment that can be easily fixed with dental wax–rough cuts in your aligners (you can file them with a nail file too!), the attachments where rubber band brackets go, and canker sores you might have in your mouth.

Floss / Flossers

Floss and flossing sticks are a great choices. With Invisalign you can floss as normal because the aligners come out!

This means that someone starting Invisalign treatment can get good use out of floss and flossers. Proper dental hygiene is important and with Invisalign you don’t have to sacrifice hygiene for straight teeth–floss is important during Invisalign treatment because as the teeth move there are spaces between them where food can stick. The last thing you want to do with food in your teeth is put your aligners back on.

Starburst Candy

Chewing gum, a big bag of Starburst candy, and even caramels are fair game! If you know someone starting Invisalign you can get them all the sweet treats that they know and love, because they’ll still be able to eat them.

With Invisalign treatment you can take out the aligners and eat all the things you love without damaging the equipment!
