1. Coat pork with 1 tsp oil and salt and pepper evenly.
2. Optional, but tasty step: Brown pork on both sides.
3. Evenly coat pork with mustard and sprinkle with remaining items except for pears and butter.
4. Add pork to crockpot.
5. Cook on low 6-8 hours or until pork is done.
6. Another optional step: Heat 1 tsp butter in skillet and sauté pears until slightly soft. Serve over pork. You could also add these into the crockpot for the last hour.

Easy Crockpot Pork Chops with Pears
Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 4 pieces pork chops 1 inch thick, can also use pork tenderloins
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp mustard Dijon
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1 cup chicken broth low sodium
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 onion yellow, sliced into large chunks
Optional: salt to taste
Pear Topping:
- 1 tsp butter or olive oil | read the directions first–if adding to the crockpot, this is not needed
- 4 cups pears sliced into large chunks (about 3 pears)
Instructions

Do you have an oven recipe for the pork chops and pears recipe?
I do not, just the crockpot. I’d cook it at 350 for 20 minutes (depending on the thickness of your pork) and check every 5 minutes after that. :)
