Have you ever had one of those weeks where you’re so busy you can’t even form a sentence?
That’s this week for me.
I opened up my blog and went to write and… nothing.
I thought that was a sign I should share some of my favorite things with you today.
My amazing husband surprised me with a new wedding ring last week! Our 16th anniversary isn’t until next month, and we don’t usually exchange gifts, so it was completely unexpected. I was *so* surprised.
When a friend of mine came to visit a few weeks ago she had some adorable toes to show off. I don’t normally look at my friend’s toes too closely, but Nicole had Jamberry nail designs on hers! I had never heard of them so I bought some for myself and booked a party so I can share these with my friends.
Steve doesn’t love concerts, so it’s even more special that he agreed to head to see Florida Georgia Line with me this past weekend.
I wish we had gotten a picture of all 13 of us who had gone, but I’ll happily take this one with Courtney, Anabelle and Breanne.
Halfway through the concert I texted the babysitter to ask if the boys were behaving. She responded with this picture.
“They’re not behaving” and a photo of a burning house.
And Jack laughing holding a lighter.
Followed by a quick disclaimer that Jack didn’t light the lighter for the picture.
I haven’t laughed that hard in quite a while :)
Someone on Pinterest commented that these were the best brownies in the world… I do believe I need to try them to see if they really are.
Football practice started this week for Michael! That means nightly practice from 6:30-8:45, fresh air, sore muscles for Michael and lots of bug spray for all of us.
I also get a lot of one on one time with Jack during practice, which is fun.
Speaking of Jack… he has been crafting with duct tape this week and has two new creations. An iPhone case:

I have yet to figure out where he gets his creativity.
On dreary monsoon days, I am more than thankful for amazing companies who send thoughtful gifts to snack on. Lindt recently sent me an adorable ceramic strawberry basket and towel and a few of their new white chocolate Strawberries & Cream bars.
One more thing! I found a new local coffee shop. For as much as I like Starbucks, I’d rather spend my money locally. I try to get out of the house to work one day a week – it’s nice to interact with adults since Billy doesn’t offer much company as an office-mate :)

I love this! Steve did so well with the new ring and Breanne looks great! So do your toes, by the way. ;) I love Jack’s duct tape creations and that Michael is back in football. Andre will hopefully be starting back soon as well. Miss hanging out with you so much! I need to try and fix that sometime soon. Hope your week is going well. :)

I had two lunch dates with my young boys this week, one of which their father joined us on. Both unexpected and both delicious! Very fun family time!
