We eat pretty clean in our house, which means that we don’t often purchase individually wrapped snacks. They’re usually full of artificial ingredients, sugar, and empty calories. Recently, though, we found goodnessknows snack squares–they contain no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup (hfcs), and are only 150 calories per package.
They’ve made us reconsider our food choices at the grocery store.
We’ve been grabbing a package of goodnessknows snack squares while running out the door for a busy day of errands, or while sitting down after a long day while craving something satisfying and sweet–but not too sweet. They’re packages as four individual squares, which is the perfect size for snacking.
goodness knows snack squares come in three flavors:
- cranberry, almond, and dark chocolate: These squares are packed with roasted almonds and toasted rolled oats with a hint of natural sweetness.
- apple, almond & peanut, and dark chocolate: Crunchy peanuts, toasted almonds and tangy apples.
- peach & cherry, almond, and dark chocolate: Sweet peaches and cherries accompanied by wholesome toasted almonds and dark chocolate.
If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the cranberry, almond, and dark chocolate. It’s the perfect mid-afternoon snack with the perfect amount of sweetness. In addition to being delicious, each serving of goodnessknows snack squares contains 100 milligrams of naturally-occuring cocoa flavanols. The bottom layer of each snack square is dark chocolate.
