2B Mindset is a nutritional program created by Beachbody and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Ilana Muhlstein, who lost over 100 pounds using this method. This plan is meant to change your thinking, and therefore your behavior, which puts YOU in charge and empowers YOU to make the rules instead of forcing them upon yourself.
You will not be counting calories or skipping the foods you love on 2B. Instead, you will focus on the foods you CAN eat based on 4 categories: Veggies, Proteins, Carbohydrates (FFCs – Fiber Filled Carbohydrates), and Accessories (fats and sweeteners). Rather than measuring out these foods, you are encouraged to eyeball them using the Plate It system. For example, the breakfast plate is 50% protein and 50% carbs (or FFCs). Adding two slices of toast to this easy Fajita Breakfast Casserole is the perfect 50% protein, 50% FFC meal. As a bonus, it's got extra veggies!
On this program, you'll eat three meals a day and an optional snack between lunch and dinner. One of the rules is “Dinner and Done,” meaning no snacks or foods after dinner. You are encouraged to track everything you eat in your 2B Mindset Journal, at least at the beginning, so you can learn how to adjust your food for optimal weight loss.
All of these recipes are perfect for the 2B Mindset program. Some may also be for the 21 Day Fix, but know that they are healthy recipes without artificial ingredients that easily fit into the 2B Mindset guidelines.
