Sometimes we need a gentle reminder of what’s going on. If you’re like me, you might forget that you’re trying to eat better–it happens often. Here is some 21 Day Fix motivation for you.
Tip: I find that sometimes mixing up the order of the apps on my phone helps me stay on top of things (I often swap my messages for the 21 Day Fix app, to remind myself to log my meals), and sometimes I need a less gentle reminder.
Printing these out and placing them on the fridge or your bathroom mirror are helpful, and they’re the perfect phone lock screen! They’ll help motivate you for the 21 Day Fix.
Consider this my pep talk.
It’s mental. Most of weight loss is a mental struggle between, “I want this” and “I want that.” You CAN make changes in your life–we all have reasons that it’s difficult, know this. We all have 24 hours in a day.
Are you using the 21 Day Fix app? If you have a bad weekend, or a bad week, don’t reset the app! It’s another mental game–you can have a good round or a not so good round, but it’s a round that you completed.
Your next job is to do better on the next round.
Today. Start today–not next Monday, not after the holidays, not after your birthday. What is the point in binging for a few days just to try and lose that extra weight?
I think this might be my favorite one in there. It’s so easy to say, “but…” But you are responsible for you and nobody else. Make it happen!
All of those bites count. They all add up. Once you hold yourself accountable for all of those tastes, you’ll see the difference. You’ll realize that all of those extra calories really do add up.
Eating healthy doesn’t mean depriving yourself. It means that you’ll fill up on nutritious whole food and not junk. You’ll feel better and your skin will clear up. You’ll finally lose that extra weight.
