A pescatarian diet excludes meat and poultry, but allows fish, while a vegan diet excludes meat, poultry, fish, eggs and dairy products. Most of these recipes can be easily adapted to fit your personal vegetarian diet plan.

These recipes are considered vegetarian because they exclude meat, poultry and fish. You can also take it a step further by removing eggs and dairy, making many of these recipes vegan.

Anyone can follow, and benefit from, a this type of eating. The key is to include a diverse mix of grains, vegetables, proteins and healthy fats. There are many protein-rich plant foods like nuts, legumes, tofu, and seeds you can consume if you are worried about your protein intake.
