This veggie fajita seasoning is easy to make and use for a variety of recipes. We love it for all fajitas–chicken, beef, and vegetable. This is a flavorful vegetable fajita seasoning recipe that you’ll reach for over and over again.

This homemade fajita seasoning makes about 4 1/2 teaspoons of seasoning, which is enough for two meals. I use it on my main fajita protein–chicken, steak, or portobello mushrooms, usually. This homemade fajita seasoning mix takes the place of any store bought seasoning you’d use. I like to use a different seasoning on my fajita vegetables.

  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • cayenne pepper (this is optional)
  • cumin

This spice mix is a little spicy, so cut back on the cayenne pepper or leave it out completely if you prefer!

Looking for your new favorite fajita recipe? I’ve got a couple to choose from:
