Wonder Whips are quickly becoming the most popular posts here on this website, and for good reason–they’re just sweet enough to satisfy a craving, but not too dangerous in the weight gain department ;)

My friend Margie from our Facebook group has been experimenting with new flavors of Wonder Whips, and has started creating savory Wonder Whip recipes–great to use as dips, or if you’re someone who prefers savory tastes over sweet ones!

I had to share Margie’s newest creations with you so you can enjoy them! First, I’d like to address a few questions that my readers have asked about Wonder Whips.

What is a Wonder Whip?

A Wonder Whip is typically a sweet dessert made from Greek yogurt. It’s a healthier dessert option that contains a lot of protein and thought it feels like a total diet cheat, it’s not! You can find my favorite sweet Wonder Whip recipes right here.

What kind of Greek yogurt should I use for Wonder Whips?

Plain Greek yogurt is key, especially for these savory Wonder Whips! Usually, I recommend using Oikos Triple Zero vanilla for a few reasons–it is sweetened with Stevia, and it’s not too tart. For these savory dips, I think Oikos Triple Zero plain fat-free or a plain 2% Greek yogurt would work great!

When can I eat these Savory Wonder Whips?

Use these savory and healthy dip recipes for when you have to bring an appetizer to a happy hour, or when you’re craving a savory snack. I love these for after dinner when I don’t want to end my day with something sweet.

Tomato Wonder Whip Dip Recipe

Ingredients for Tomato Wonder Whip: 3/4 Cup plain Greek Yogurt, One medium size tomato  (chopped), a small pinch each of salt and black pepper, one teaspoon onion powder. Avocado Wonder Whip Dip Recipe

Guacamole Wonder Whip Dip

Another take on this… a much healthier guacamole! This is such a great way to get some extra protein in.

Ingredients for Guacamole Wonder Whip: 3/4 Cup plain Greek Yogurt, 1/2 cup of homemade guacamole. Whip together by hand, with a mixer, or in a blender. Cucumber Wonder Whip Recipe

Ingredients for Cucumber Wonder Whip: 3/4 Cup plain Greek Yogurt, 1/4 C diced cucumber, a pinch each of salt and pepper, and a tiny bit of cumin. Savory Onion Wonder Whip Dip Recipe

Ingredients for Savory Onion Wonder Whip: 3/4 Cup plain Greek Yogurt, 1/4 C chopped green onions, a pinch each of salt and dried basil flakes. Add diced tomatoes and peppers to the top if you’d like.
