You know that we I love peanut butter, right? LOVE.

Peanut butter cookies are our my favorite. The only thing I don’t care for is the floury taste that sometimes accompanies even the very best peanut butter cookies.

Ingredient 5 (optional). 1/4 cup Chocolate chips

Mix the peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Add baking soda. Fold in chocolate chips.

Use a spoon to scoop the dough and roll into 1 inch balls. The dough is flaky and might have to be squeezed together to make it stick into a ball – it’s ok – it’ll be worth it.

Baking sheet with peanut butter cookie balls on it, ready to be pressed with fork tines.

Use a fork to make crisscross marks in the cookie.

Two peanut butter cookies with fork tine marks in them on a baking sheet.

Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.

Enjoy :)

  1. I’m life long baker and in my 70’s I’ve never heard of baking cookies without flour and other ingredients, I thought people were putting one on,anyway I gave this cookie a try, what a surprise, they turned out delicious, this is going to be a keeper in my cookie collection. Please give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

  2. Just wondering if anyone has tried this recipe using a sugar substitute as I am looking to cut out carbs and the sugar adds a lot of them.

  3. Are these a soft cookie? I’m going to make these but I’m going to use trivia instead of regular sugar. My husband and I are doing the trim health momma diet, and these are exactly the kind of desert that is allowed!

  4. Some genuinely nice and utilitarian info on this web site, as
well I conceive the style has wonderful features.

  5. Just made these and they were great! I should have made smaller balls and flattened them more. But i added Reese pieces and white chocolate. YUM!

    1. Could these simple fast cookies be made without peanut butter, lets say using coconut oil to hold them together..similar to sugar cookies? Any ideas? Thank you. (btw made two batches two days in a row using 1/2 cup almond butter and 1/2 peanut butter, they were delicious!)
